Blind woman to sky-dive

by isleofman.com 19th August 2006
A blind woman is seeking the public's support as she attempts a sponsored sky dive.

Rhiannon Gardner from Douglas is organising the event to help raise funds for the Guide Dog Association.

She hopes she will soon be able to afford a guide dog of her own.

The cost of advanced training for one guide dog stands at ?2,500.

Rhiannon says it’s extra important funds are raised as the Association relies solely on public donations.

Rhiannon can be contacted on 427700
