Bike collision in Castletown

by isleofman.com 21st August 2006
A motorcyclist was taken to Nobles Hospital with serious injuries yesterday after an accident on Malew Road in Castletown.

It happened at around 1.30pm near to the entrance of Billown Cottages and involved a red Honda Firestorm bike which was being driven by a man from Douglas and a silver Nissan Navara pick-up vehicle being driven by a man from Colby.

Both vehicles were travelling out of Castletown when the accident happened.

The biker's injuries aren't thought to be life threatening, and the driver of the truck was uninjured.
