Celtic League AGM

by isleofman.com 22nd August 2006
The Celtic League has expressed its concern at proposals in the UK which may lead to a new generation of nuclear plants.

The group has also reiterated its opposition to the French and British Civil and military nuclear programmes.

The call came in the resolutions at this year's Annual General Meeting.

The League has also sought assurances from the Isle of Man Department of Education that the first group of children to go through the Manx Language School 'Bunscoll Ghaelgagh' who will be leaving the school in July next year, will have their linguistic rights and needs met in the secondary environment.
