Crane dies after MGP practice crash

A Manx Grand Prix competitor has died following an incident during Monday evening's practice session.

Forty-six year old farmer Terry Crane, from Santon, lost control of his 250cc Honda at the 33rd Milestone on the Mountain section of the T.T. Course.

He was taken to Noble's Hosptial by rescue helicopter, but died soon afterwards.

Terry Crane was married and leaves two sons.

The organising Manx Motorcycle Club is expressing it's sincere condolences to family and friends.

The Coroner of Inquests has been informed and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway.
