It looks certain Manx Grand Prix lap record holder Alan Jackson will take no further part in this year's meeting. It's been confirmed the Preston rider is being treated for two broken ankles in Nobles Hospital, following a crash at the Black Dub in last night's practice session.
Three other competitors are in Hospital after practice crashes.
Belgian Bart Crauwels, who came off at Union Mills on Monday evening, is described as “stable” and has been removed from Intensive Therapy to a normal ward for further treatment to a leg injury.
Matt Turner, of Kidsgrove, who spilled at Joey’s last evening is being operated upon today for shoulder and knee injuries.
Adrian Elwod, from Lisburn, who crashed at Braddan Bridge on Monday, is said to be “comfortable”. He is being treated for a leg injury.
