Neighbourhood cop for East

The Police Force's newest Neighbourhood Watch Liaison Officer, Tony Lawler, is encouraging us all to be better neighbours.

On a day when it's been revealed half of Britons don't even know the names of people next door, PC Lawler wants us to start being more suspicious.

PC Lawler will be looking to create better relationships in the Eastern Area.

He says people need to be more willing to pick up the phone and call the police:

And there'll be a meeting in Onchan on September the 20th to discuss how residents feel about setting up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.
