Manx language snub

The Director of Information of the Celtic League, Bernard Moffatt, says he is amazed after the Healthcare Commission said it had never heard of the Manx language.He says a member of the League contacted the body over its recently-released report into Noble’s Hospital.But despite the fact the document is available in fourteen languages, they could not supply a Manx copy.And as if this was not bad enough, Mr Moffatt says the commission said it didn’t realise there was an indigenous tongue:
