Bushy's beer tent to go?

by isleofman.com 24th August 2006
It could be the end for the TT beer tent after plans were approved for the Bottleneck Car Park.

The Department of Transport had applied to carry out highway and harbour access improvement works around Bath Place, Peveril Square and Loch Promenade in Douglas – including changing the road layout and siting a pedestrian crossing near the car park.

Bushy’s boss, Martin Brunnschweiler, says the brewery has been told the works have been given the green light.

He’s worried the changes could spell the end of entertainment outside the tent or even of the tent itself.
