Mr Charity gets on his bike

He’s dressed in a baby romper suit, been pelted for an hour with custard pies and water bombs and been stuck working for a day on the Calf of Mann – just some of the challenges Dave Schuster has undertaken in the name of charity over the past few months.

Now, with retirement looming, the general manager of Clerical Medical International is set for arguably his toughest test.

He’s aiming to ride a tandem around the TT course next month – a fundraiser he hopes will help him exceed the ?5,000 target he set to raise for two charities - the Neonatal Baby Unit at Nobles Hospital and Women’s Refuge.
