Conservation Society give Manx Beaches the cold shoulder

by isleofman.com 26th August 2006
The UK Marine Conservation Society have only recommended one Manx beach out of 17 in their most recent survey, just published.

Thats despite beaches round the British Isles, in general, showing a big improvement.

Ninety per cent of Britain's coastal bathing sites have been graded
"excellent".

However on the MCS website, they say of 17 beaches tested, just one, at Derbyhaven, is recommended.
