Connor Steventon fundraiser

by isleofman.com 26th August 2006
A fundraising event will take place later today (Sunday) for a young boy bravely battling a rare cancer.

Eleven year-old Connor Steventon has a desmoplastic small round cell tumour.

He divides his time between his home in Braddan and hospital and hopes to be well enough to start secondary school next month.

The cancer, which affects the soft cells, muscle and fat, started in Connor's pelvis and has spread to many of his organs.

An equestrian and general sale will be held in aid of Connor's Medical Fund at Ballagarey Farm Stables in St Marks today (Sunday).
