Renewed call for marshals

There’s a renewed call for volunteers by the Marshals Association as people who’ve stayed for Manx Grand Prix practice week go home.

Roger Hurst says, after successful appeals last week, the organisation managed the minimum manning levels for practice sessions.

But he’s worried that may not last as people leave the Island, and says he wants to hear from anybody who could give up some time to help.

Mr Hurst told Tim Glover practice sessions almost couldn’t be held because of a lack of marshals (audio file attached):
