Film Industry " animated" over new success

As we wait the response the opening of "Severance", the importance of animation to the island's Film Industry is underlined.

The ten million pound project " Freefonix", in production in officeds on Athol Street, has been commissioned by Childrens BBC TV for forty weeks. And that will means more work for Manx staff.

The firm behind it, Quintus, employ 30 of which five are local. Its estimated that more will be needed as the production unfolds over the next 18 months.

Meanwhile it is confirmed that Stormbreaker took ?1.25 million over its first weekend and not the 2 million plus claimed at the time.
