Allied Irish refurb well on course

by isleofman.com 30th August 2006
The major refurbishment of Allied Irish Offshore’s offices in Finch Road, Douglas is scheduled to be completed at the end of September.

Island director Chris Howland says local companies have been used wherever possible. ‘The fabric of the building is being substantially upgraded in as environmentally responsible a way as possible and includes new lighting, data installation, wiring and a comfort cooling system, along with redecoration, new furnishings and catering facilities. The staff have provided their input to certain aspects of the project, such as the choice of colour schemes and have also been invited to submit photographs on the theme of “Manx culture”, a selection of which will be used to decorate the walls.’

The refurbishment comes ahead of the firm's 30th anniversary next year.
