Commonwealth Gold medal winning cyclist Mark Cavendish finished seventh in the first stage of the Tour of Britain yesterday.
The joint Isle of Man sportsman of the year was the highest placed finisher for professional team T-Mobile as the event covered Glasgow to Castle Douglas.
Today, they are riding from Blackpool to Liverpool.
The tour finishes in London on Sunday.
