MGP last day in danger

by isleofman.com 31st August 2006
A lack of experienced marshals could mean tomorrow's Manx Grand Prix race programme being cancelled.

The Isle of Man T.T. Marshals Association admits minimum manning levels were only just achieved for yesterday's racing.

Chairman Roger Hurst says the many first-time volunteers who have come forward over the past fortnight can't be counted in safety checks:-

Anyone who can help out is asked to go to the marshals office at the back of the T.T. Grandstand. It will remain open until 6.30pm this evening and will open again at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
