Biker inquest

The inquest into the death of a motorcyclist has been opened and adjourned by coroner Michael Moyle so the funeral can take place.

Edward Johnson, 58, from Leeds, was killed in an accident on Monday morning on the main Peel to Douglas road at the Glen Vine Road junction.

A post mortem revealed Mr Johnson suffered multiple injuries.

The inquest is expected to resume in two or three weeks.
