The death of a man found in a hotel room has been ruled accidental.
The body of 34 year old Adrian Edward Caley was discovered at the Trevelyan Hotel in Douglas where he was staying.
Blood analysis revealed high levels of morphine and codeine in his blood, associated with heroin use.
At an inquest, Coroner Michael Moyle heard that a syringe containing heroin was found in his room, and fresh needle marks were evident on his feet.

Unemployed Mr Caley had lived at the Trevelyn Hotel for 3 years.
During police investigations, friends revealed he was a known drug user although they thought he had stopped.
Detective Sergeant Robert Scully told the Coroner, Mr Caley had been described as 'socially awkward', who had suffered periods of depression throughout his life.
He was discovered by a friend who also lived in the hotel after she forced open his door. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Delivering a verdict of accidental death, Mr Moyle said he didn't think enough resources were being dedicated to combating the growing drugs problem on the Island.
