Corkish drugs sentence adjourned

Sentence on a 19 year old man has been adjourned by the High Bailiff.

Juan Robert Corkish of St Catherine's Close, Douglas, admitted possessing 1.8 grammes of cannabis bush at the Sea Terminal where he was stopped by police.

He told them he had more of the drug at his home.

Sergeant John Manley, prosecuting, said 29 grammes of cannabis bush was recovered from his bedroom.

The combined value of the drugs was ?117.

Corkish was bailed until September 19th for a community service assessment.
