Camera Obscura closes for summer season

by isleofman.com 3rd September 2006
The Great Union Camera Obscura on Douglas Head closes for the winter this weekend.

It will be open from from 11am to 4pm today (Sunday).

The Isle of Man Victorian Society, which operates the attraction, says it's been highly popular again this year and the number of oversea visitors has increased.

It's planned to have an interpretation board on Douglas Head next year, along with signs to the obscura placed near the Millennium Bridge.

The Camera Obscura will open again next Easter.
