Seven goal Glover keeps Corinthians top

Talented striker Steven Glover hit SEVEN as CFS Division Two leaders Corinthians ran riot at lowly Jurby on Saturday.
Glover was joined on the scoresheet by another young gun, Jamie Stoy (two), Steve Ward and Greg Taylor, in an 11-0 demolition.

Old Boys also maintained their 100 per cent record to stay second on goal difference but were pushed all the way by Malew before emerging 5-4 winners at Clagh Vane.

Kenny Magee (two), Craig Stewart, Calum Stewart and Sean Gavin sealed the points for Old Boys but Malew battled extremely well - Jack Charmer (two), Darryl Yardley and Jack Thirwell their scorers.

Michael stay third after a 3-2 win at the struggling Police, for whom the consistent Chris Coxon found the net again.

Colby won a southern derby but it was tight – Ronaldsway defeated 2-1 at Glen Road after a James Cain double with Mark Reece on target for the Rockets.

After sharing four goals in the opening 45 minutes, Castletown went goal crazy at Douglas and District, winning 9-3.

Greg Hoskisson led the way for the southerners with a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Ashley Southern (two), Brett Alcott (two), Mike Quine and an own goal.

Pulrose also hit goals aplenty with a 6-3 home win over Foxdale, thanks to doubles from David Skillen, Gary Skillicorn and Barry English.

Robin Dawson, talented 15 year-old Lee Gale and Shaun Sheridan were the Foxdale scorers.
