The first woman ever to take the post of Director General of MI5, Dame Stella Rimington, is coming to the Island.
She will speak to the Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club on Thursday October 26th at the Hilton Hotel and Casino.
She will also be signing copies of her book " Secret Asset" earlier in the day.
Dame Stella is the second celebrity speaker captured by the Club following "Rogue Trader" Nick Leeson earlier this year.
