Five-star Falcons caused a massive shock as they defeated reigning league champions Bacchas A 5-1 in Richmond Travel Mixed Division One.

A double from Neil Crowe and strikes from Kim Carney, Louise Slater and Juan Corlett secured a memorable win.

Jamie Cox scored the Bacchas consolation.

Valkyrs A, who only missed out on the title on goal difference last season, made no mistake as they demolished Celts 10-0.

Ramsey A continued their improvement and were involved in an exciting game, drawing 2-2 against Bacchas B.
