Another mobile phone firm is poised to make an entry into the Manx market.
Cloud9, which received a licence to offer mobile phone services from the Manx Communications Commission in May, says it has embarked on an extensive survey into mobile phone usage across the Isle of Man.
They say their aim is to enter the Island’s mobile market later this year and that they are looking into usage patterns so final tariffs and bundles provide extra choice and cost savings for the customer.
Cloud9 is to offer half-price phone calls for a year to the first 5,000 people who register at www.cloud9.im.
Cable and Wireless is due to introduce its "Sure" mobile services to the Island next year. Last week, they launched that service in Jersey.
