Irish warm up for Island team

by isleofman.com 29th September 2006
The Isle of Man national football team will represent not only the Island but England as well on Saturday, as the build-up to next year’s UEFA Regions Cup begins in earnest.

The Manx side play Irish amateur select team, Tipperary, with support from the English Football Association who will assist the Manx coaching team with a doctor, kit man, administrator and physio.

The Island will be playing in full England kit after winning the National League Systems Cup in May – victory which qualified them for the UEFA Regions Cup in Prague next April.
