The Isle of Man's first bio-diesel filling station was officially opened today, by Chief Minister, Donald Gelling.
It's located at the Fairy Cottage station in Laxey, which has been reopened following its closure earlier this year.
The fuel is produced from a variety of renewable vegetable based resources including new and waste Rapeseed, Soya and Palm Oil.
It reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 75 per cent and sulphur dioxide by almost 100 per cent compared to regular diesel.
