Higgins eyes British title

by isleofman.com 6th October 2006
The Isle of Man could have yet another Champion by Saturday evening.

Mark Higgins will retain his British Rally Championship if he guides his Stobart Motorsport Suburu to fifteenth place or higher at the penultimate round.

The Trackrod Rally of Yorkshire is a single day event based at Pickering and covers 105 stage miles.

If the Manx driver secures his third British Championship, he will move up to third on the all-time list behind Jimmy McRae (5 wins) and Roger Clark (4 wins).
