Higgins clinches title

by isleofman.com 8th October 2006
Mark Higgins has secured his third British Rally Championship with a second place in the Trackrod Rally of Yorkshire.

He took his Stobart Motorsport Subaru to second place in the penultimate round of the series - the Trackrod Rally of Yorkshire.

Higgins needed to come just fifteenth in the single day event at Pickering, which covered 105 stage miles.

The win means he’s now third on the all-time list behind Jimmy McRae’s five wins and Roger Clark’s four.
