A battle over two African duty free shops could be decided in a Manx court this week.
The shops at international airports in Nairobi and Mombasa have been the subject of a bitter dispute between two millionaire businessmen for six years.
In 2000, Nassir Ibrahim Ali lost a case against the Kenyan government when it cancelled his contract to run the shops.
This week, a court in the Isle of Man – where the company behind the World Duty Free shops was initially registered – is expected to deliver a ruling to determine the ownership of the company.
Mr Ali has been contesting a takeover by Kamlesh Pattni (pictured) after a Kenyan High Court judge made an order allowing Mr Pattni to do so.
