Manx films out soon

by isleofman.com 9th October 2006
The Department of Trade and Industry has high hopes for this winter's crop of Manx-shot films.

Two major Isle of Man projects which are expected to garner large audiences are due for release in the coming months.

The first of those is Big Nothing with Simon Pegg and David Schwimmer (pictured).

The comedy thriller about an unemployed teacher who joins up with a scammer and his girlfriend in a blackmailing scheme will be in UK cinemas on November 24.

A little while away yet is Miss Potter, the biopic about children’s writer Beatrix Potter starring Renee Zellweger (pictured).

That’s due for release both in the UK and America on January 5.
