Colley secures second spot

by isleofman.com 10th October 2006
Steve Colley has won the battle to finish runner-up in the 2006 British Trials Championship.

Going into the final round at Bradford, Graham Jarvis had already been confirmed as Champion, taking the title from 2005 winner Colley.

The Manxman came second behind Jarvis in Sunday's event - his main rival Shaun Morris had to settle for fourth place after a big crash on section 10 of the opening lap shook his confidence.

Steve had to shelve his usual dynamic riding style to cope with the ultra slippy Skyrakes sections.
