Pitt "sacked" by Yamaha

by isleofman.com 10th October 2006
Isle of Man resident Andrew Pitt is without a ride for next season's World Superbike Championship.

He has been replaced in the Yamaha Motor Italia team by former two-time title holder Troy Corser. The Australian will ride with Noriyuki Haga next year.

With the 2006 campaign now finished after Sunday's final round at Magny Cours, France - Pitt finished in fifth place in the overall standings, after a win and several podium places during the season.
