Bellis and Kennaugh receive recognition

by isleofman.com 11th October 2006
The Isle of Man Government has recognised the outstanding achievements of two young cyclists.

Peter Kennaugh and Jonathan Bellis have won a host of medals this year at World, European and British levels.

In early August, Peter won the World Junior Scratch Race Championship in Belgium....and Jonathan took silver, on the same day, in the Points Race.

Both were in the British Team Pursuit squad which struck gold at the European Championships in Athens.

Chief Minister Donald Gelling says it's important to applaud Manx success:-
