Warning on Fare Pak Food.

by isleofman.com 19th October 2006
There's a warning to Manx people not to send any more money to the Fare Pak Food and Gifts Limited.
The UK company ceased trading on 13th October 2006.

The Office of Fair Trading has been contacted by a number of customers of the company who are concerned that they may have lost their money.

"Customers paid monthly in advance to the firm or its agents towards food hampers for the festive season. The company is now unable to deliver any orders for hampers, vouchers or gifts. Joint administrators are working to realise the assets of the company and anyone with a claim should send their details to Kings Wharf, 20-30 Kings Road, Berkshire RG1 3EX. Do not discard your payment book or any other paperwork as this will be required at a future date to prove your claim should funds become available to repay the creditors of the company.

The Administrators of the company are using the website to update customers and agents affected by the Administration and have put together a list of frequently asked questions with answers to assist any one affected. This can be accessed via www.farepak.co.uk which also has a form on which to make a claim for losses".
