No surprises in Cup

There were no surprises but some big scorelines in the second round of the Heritage Homes Cup on Saturday.

Division One leaders Valkyrs A demolished Bacchas C 16-1 with five goal Gareth Morris leading the rout.

The impressive Andy Harding hit four, 15 year-old talent Steve Crowe grabbed a memorable hat-trick and Jan Carney netted twice as Falcons saw off Harlequins A 9-0.

Vic Fearns and Ali Carroon were the scorers as Valkyrs B defeated Saxons 2-0, five-goal Ollie Webster inspired Ramsey to a 10-0 thrashing of the Ravens, while Phoenix A saw off Saracens A 5-0.

In the Tuftext Trophy, Ramsey Rookies ran out 3-0 winners against Vandals.
