Laxey Football captain Jim Travers is the new member of the Isle of Man Sports Council.
Jim is an Associate Advocate with Quinn Kneale and has been appointed following the retirement of Brian Shooter. He also plays Tennis, Cricket and golf.
Geoff Karran has been unaminously re-elected as Executive Chairman.....and Gary Corkhill, Richard Radcliffe and Neil McGregor have been reappointed for a further term.
