FT boosts Manx fiscal standing

The Isle of Man is termed "a niche with an edge" in a four page supplement to todays Financial Times newspaper.The series of articles complements the jurisdiction's nimbleness of foot in developing area such as tax caps but also in e-gaming and telecoms.And its noted that "a position of fiscal strength gives it an edge over rivals".However ( in a guest article) Financier Jim Mellon, of Regent Pacific and Conister criticises the planning process as "frustrating the need for adequate homes and interesting shops".James Wilson of the FT:
