Rutter on pole for Macau

by isleofman.com 17th November 2006
Michael Rutter is on course to claim a record-breaking seventh victory at the Macau Grand Prix.

The Stobart Honda rider is on pole for tomorrow's race, as he aims to move ahead of Ron Haslam at the top of the all-time list.

Rutter is remaining calm about potentially making history:-

AIM Yamaha Racing's Steve Plater is second on the grid with eleven time T.T. winner John McGuinness third.

The absolute Mountain Course lap record holder says the Macau event is always an enjoyable way to end the season:-

Manxman Paul Hunt, riding an MSS Discovery Kawasaki, will start from 22nd place after the two qualifying sessions.
