A week of heavy rain has left sports grounds around the Island in a sodden state.

Already, Douglas Corporation has ruled out any action on it's playing surfaces for the weekend.

Many of tomorrow's sporting fixtures face a morning pitch inspection to determine whether they go ahead.

So far, the following matches have been postponed:-

Football:-
Division Two - Corinthians v Foxdale and Douglas & District v Police;
Combination One - St. Mary's v Douglas Royal;
Combination Two - Pulrose v Castletown and Police v Douglas & District.
