Valkyrs A and Bacchas A maintain title push

by isleofman.com 18th November 2006
The top two in Manx hockey both won on Saturday to maintain their championship push.

Leaders Valkyrs A overcame the spirited challenge of Ramsey A in the match of the day, goals from the prolific duo Greg Miller and Gareth Morris securing a 2-0 success.

Reigning champions Bacchas A gained revenge for an early season set back at the hands of Falcons with a 4-1 win.

A Karl Moore hat-trick and Andy Bridson strike ensured Jan Carney’s reply was a mere consolation.

Claire Louise-Lace and Tom Wilson were the scorers as Bacchas B defeated Celts 2-1, while Phoenix A were 2-0 winners over Saracens A.
