Old Boys returned to the top of CFS Division Two on Saturday by showing no mercy to bottom club Jurby.
A Darren Hudgeon hat-trick led an 8-1 rout at Blackberry Lane, with the other goals from Craig Stewart, Kenny McGee, Callum Stewart and Sean Gavin (two).
Phil Corkill netted the Jurby consolation.
Castletown gained arguably their best result of the season with an exciting 3-2 home win over Pulrose.
John Howard (two) and Adam Pait were the scorers, although Pulrose, who trailed 2-0 at the break, nearly pulled it back with second half goals from Craig Cowin and the prolific Dave Skillen.
Colby took advantage of Pulrose’s slip to leapfrog them into fourth after a 3-1 home win over Malew in the southern derby.
The talented James Collett (two) and promising youngster Josh Kelly were the match-winners with Adam Drewitt on target for Malew – all the goals coming in the second half.
Meanwhile, Ronaldsway gained a confidence boosting point in a 2-2 home draw with Onchan.
Matthew Williamson grabbed both for the Rockets in the second half.
Onchan, who led 1-0 at half-time, found the net through Daniel Pownall and Chris McIntosh.
