Manx revolution

by isleofman.com 20th November 2006
Four Isle of Man cyclists were among the cream of the British riders who shone at the Revolution track meeting in Manchester at the weekend.

World Junior Scratch race Champion Peter Kennaugh proved he can mix it with the big boys, taking third place in the Elite Devil Scratch race over 6km. He was beaten by Bradley Wiggins and Bradley McGee.

He then went onto win the Elite Points Race after a late burst off the front of the field.

Jonny Bellis, who has claimed numerous medals this year, came third in the Elite 15k Scratch Race.

Mark Christian just missed out on a win in the Future Stars Devil boys race for second place, and Chris Whorrall claimed third in the Future Stars 5k Scratch race.
