Standard Bank Offshore has appointed Nigel Watson as Director of Intermediary Distribution.
He will be responsible for "building on the Bank’s distribution success and managing the development of its products through Independent Financial Advisers around the world".
A statement says he will focus on ensuring that the Bank continues to achieve growth in its products and services and realise their full potential in key international markets.
Whilst principally based in the Isle of Man, Mr Watson will work alongside Standard Bank’s current network of in-country Heads of International Wealth Management.
He joins Standard Bank Offshore with a wealth of experience in offshore sales management, having previously held senior positions with several offshore life companies, including in recent years Scottish Provident International. He specialises in offshore distribution matters in markets such as the Far East, the Middle East, Europe and the UK.
