Leaving HSBC after 38 years!

by isleofman.com 22nd November 2006
Terry Stokes, the Commercial Banking Manager at HSBC, is to retire on 30 November. It will mark more than 38 years’ unbroken service with the bank.

Terry has been with HSBC in the Isle of Man since 2001, when he moved here as Commercial Banking Manager. As a senior member of the Commercial Banking team, he has spent the last five years looking after a portfolio of business customers ranging from local companies to international businesses trading worldwide.

Mike Hennessy, HSBC Area Manager, said, “Terry has been an invaluable member of the team and will be much missed. It would be a shame to lose such a wealth of experience and local expertise overnight, so we have created an ambassadorial role in which Terry will work with us on an ad hoc basis, developing new business opportunities for HSBC here in the Island.”
