Vagabonds B secured their place in the final of the Dorchester Maritime Manx Plate with a 14-12 win over old rivals Douglas B.
Vagas took an early lead with two tries from centre Andy Pease inside the first ten minutes, both converted by Danny Williams.
Douglas soon found their feet though and, after Vagas hooker James Clarke was sent to the sin bin on the half hour mark, veteran wing Martin Higgins hauled them back into the game with a simple flop over try.
Seb Jeanneau powered over on the hour mark for Douglas and, when Mark Anderson added the conversion, they were within two points of Vagas.
However, they were beaten by the clock.
Vagas will face Southern Nomads in the December 16 final after Nomads won their semi final by a walkover as Castletown failed to field a team.
