Reigning champions Laxey sealed an important win, 5-1 at home to Rushen.
The final scoreline was harsh on the southerners, whose caused wasn’t helped by a penalty miss.

The Miners ran out comfortable winners in the end with goals from Neil Brogan, Nigel Beattie, John Callow and a Rob Sorby double – one from the penalty spot.

Neil Curphey notched the Rushen reply.
