EuroManx boss attacks passenger duty hike

by isleofman.com 14th December 2006
The Chief Executive of Euro Manx has written to the Manx Government and to the UK Government about the proposed increase in air passenger duty in February.

John Seymour says he is concerned about the effect it could have on the operation of local airlines including, of course, his own.
They operate in a highly competitive arena.

He is also concerned about the complications arising out of the charge being levied on UK issued tickets in the UK but on the isle of Man for Manx issued tickets.

When Mr Seymour has his replies, he is likely to make a statement.
