F.A. drop charges

by isleofman.com 15th December 2006
It's understood the Isle of Man Football Association is to take no action against Rushen United and St. Mary's.

Originally, both clubs were charged with failure to control their spectators and players after disturbances at the end of last month's Division One fixture at Croit Lowey.

No press release has been issued by the F.A. following Wednesday evening's Disciplinary Committee meeting.

It's also believed the cases against two players have been deferred until the Police complete their enquiries.

Phil Kermode was one of the officials at the match. He says he's resigned as an referee in protest at the lack of action being taken by the F.A.:-
