by isleofman.com 27th December 2006
The Government have told ex employees of the Castle Mona " don't keep quiet, if you are owed"

They say the Employment Act 1991, provides for a scheme to compensate employees of insolvent companies in respect of certain monies owed, subject to satisfying the rules of the scheme.

A statement say "If you are owed any outstanding wages, holiday pay, redundancy pay or any unpaid notice, you may be able to make a claim to the DHSS for payment from the National Insurance Fund. If you have already completed forms IP1 and IP2 and sent them into the DHSS, please disregard this notice. If you have not completed these forms and wish to make a claim, please either contact the Manx Industrial Relations Service on 672942 or call into our office, 5th Floor, Victory House, Prospect Hill, Douglas or contact the DHSS, Markwell House, Market Street, Douglas directly"
