Barclays back ACSP

Barclays is to sponsor the Association of Corporate Service Providers’ seminars from January 2007.

Association chairman Michael Shimmin describing it as "marking a welcome return by Barclays, who have been ACSP sponsors in the past. Once again we look forward to enjoying a mutually beneficial relationship with Barclays whose support will ensure we continue to offer our members the customary high standard of presentations and seminars for which the ACSP has become known".


The timetable of presentations for 2007 is currently under consideration.
The subjects includes the Isle of Man space industry and the launch of the first Manx satellite( pictured); the Isle of Man Gambling Control Commissioners and the possibility of a talk from a former money launderer.


The first Barclays-sponsored event of 2007 will be a presentation by the Assessor of Income Tax, Dr Malcolm Couch ( pictured left), on the topic of international tax issues affecting the Isle of Man.
It will be held on Tuesday, January 23 at Upper Church Hall, Promenade Methodist Church, Douglas. Registration at 12.00 noon for a 12.30 pm prompt start. The seminar is expected to finish by 2.00pm at the latest. Contact Marie Lambden, 628131, mlambden@acsp.co.im .
